SLS Stream #1–SLS Comments On Sundance, Article 13, And More Stuff...

Oh, hi! I’m SLS! Well, this is my first blog stream. Surprising. Today, I take a look on the Internet in the past few weeks! ...Hmm, what’s this?

Sundance Film Festival begins on January 24th, 2019! Of course, I’m not gonna be there, but let’s see what’s gonna premiere there....hmmmmmm....

Meh, nothing notable. Just a bunch of stuff about documantires on politics and documentaries on normal stuff, a couple dramatic short films by low-budget companies and also...what’s this...a yellow puppet with a blue Mohawk, a green duck, and a pile of red spaghetti? Ew, no! This is full of weird stuff...is this even a short film? And what is this monstrosity? This one, too!

I mean...er...on to the next oddity on our trip through the Internet!

Have any of you heard about Article 13 yet? No? Okay then, you uncultured swine, let me tell you what it is. Article 13 is the death of the Internet basically. Anything that parodies or borrows an image from a copyrighted source will be taken down.

So, if you draw a simple picture of, say, Spider-Man or Voldemort, and post it on Snapchat...

This is from late November, so it’s a little late, but man oh man, apparently people don’t like that J.K. Rowling changed Nagini from Harry Potter into a lady.

You see, in Harry Potter, Nagini is the snake buddy of Lord Voldemort, and does evil tasks for her master. People theorized earlier last year that she was a lady who turned into a snake due to a blood curse, which was highly teased in some teaser trailers. But when Miss Rowling announced their theories were correct, they went CRAZY with hate messages.

The dumb thing is, they were the ones who thought Nagini would transform from an ugly, deformed creature into a sexy reptile!
